Here we are sitting on the couch, watching Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. It’s so surreal that another year is wrapping up and another will begin soon. Very soon, in fact, that we realized there’s only 90 minutes left to come up with a New Year’s resolution!
Oh well, instead of coming up with a half-baked resolution, we decided to reflect back on this incredibly splendid year. Both personally as well as creatively through ENMUSE, it has been an all-around busy and exciting year full of “firsts”: We got engaged (for the first time, of course) in April (and will kick-off 2013 with our wedding YAY!), had one of our favorite engagement sessions featured on this awesome blog (which we follow closely), visited the Lone Star state for a 2-day session (see: “Cowboy/Girl in Love”), realized this one themed e-session we’ve dreamed up since forever (See: “Real Life Superhero”) and shot weddings for the very first time at some of our favorite venues (See: “Mandarin Oriental Atlanta”; “The Fox Hall Resort”; “Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville”).
Here’s another “first” for us: shooting a Venezuelan wedding. The bride and groom, Carla and Andres, “warned” us that there will be lotsa dancin’ going on that night. But they forgot to mention how GOOD the dancing would be. Seriously, it was like shooting a wedding of one of the “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancers (not the contestants – because we all know Bristol Palin can’t dance to save her life!) This is the last blog post of this year, but we will keep you posted on our new adventures next year. Til then, we wish everyone the happiest new year :)
Last but not least, check out this highlight reel by our good friend, Ryan at Imagine Video Productions :)
