Waltz for the Moon – California Wedding Photography

“I think I met my waifu (wife),” said George on 7/22/16 at 10:38am on a group chat to his bestfriends. One of whom actually saved this precious text and displayed it on his wedding day 3 years later to said woman – now his actual wife :)

Ladies, imagine.

Imagine if you have photographic evidence of the fact that your man took one look at you and thought “WIFE”. BOOM.

You guys, this couple makes our souls smile. And clearly we’re not the only ones cause there was NO dry eye either during their soul-touching, heartfelt vows or during their best friends’ speeches – which were really just the most hilarious tell-all on their sweet relationship. Let’s just say the aforementioned text was not the only one displayed on the big screen to everyone’s delights. Each text showed George’s confidence and determination in winning Fanny’s heart. And clearly, this confidence and determination seemed to set their relationship on a strong path. It’s like they recognize their own souls in each other… and everyone else cannot help but see that they belong together.

During the planning process, we always ask our clients for their shared vision for the wedding day. Fanny and George’s intention was to make their wedding as personalized as possible. And honestly? They absolutely succeeded in telling their story in the most simple-yet-profound ways that by the time they danced their first dance to “Waltz for the Moon”, we understood their shared love for Final Fantasy and anything Japanese (Fanny even sang a special song for George IN JAPANESE), the surprising fact that Fanny is a better gamer than George (don’t worry, George was the one who admitted this!), how they complement each other’s personalities and characters, how important friends and family are to them… and even Fanny’s obsession with succulents which made their way into their beautifully arranged bouquets, arch and centerpieces.

In less than 10 hours, we felt like we got to know George and Fanny intimately… and perhaps that’s the reason why we laughed and cried joyful tears a lot more than in our usual wedding “jobs”. George and Fanny, it truly has been a pleasure to work with you. We hope these photos can be another precious evidence of your legendary story!
