She lights up any room she enters. He commands said room with his charisma. Together, they are an undeniable FORCE to be reckon with – and we are extremely humbled to have the honor of preserving their “one for the ages” love story.
Supria and Jay are unlike any other couple we know. After meeting and getting to know them in Boston for their engagement session, we are convinced that the sun, moon, and all the stars – heck, the entire UNIVERSE – must have conspired to bring them together.
For one, he hailed from the Land Down Under. Somehow, someway, he (and that wonderful Aussie accent!) made his way allll the way to the US…so, yes, fate literally brought him to her doorsteps. Together, their energy is magnetic – that rare combination of easy charm and intelligence mixed with genuine kindness, humility and generosity.
Our ultimate goal for the wedding weekend was to capture their energy and impact to those around them. You see, Supria and Jay’s loved ones flew in to her hometown of Pittsburgh from ALL around the globe to witness their union. It felt like a huge family reunion yet it was the first time all of the different people/groups from different seasons of their lives met. Those three days were precious to say the least… and the happy couple was determined to ensure a fabulous time for all. Judging from everyone’s reactions, we think it’s safe to say that they succeeded. With FLYING COLORS.
Supria and Jay flew in all the best vendors to Pittsburgh and treated their guests to a magical long weekend filled with equal parts of heartfelt moments and first class entertainment (not to mention an overflow of delectable food, drinks and desserts) – including a very special Bride + Groom duet (she showed off her superb college dance team Captain-worthy moves to Jay’s dope dhol beats), the sweetest bride and father-of-the-bride dance (not only did she follow her dad’s footsteps into the medical field, but also clearly inherited his stage presence and dance moves!), the most loving performances by friends and families, an impressive dance group straight from India… and the only dhol-and-violin band in the world (do yourselves a favor and check them out: Toronto-based Folk’n Guys) with the most showstopping rendition of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” we have ever heard!
Supria and Jay – a million THANK YOUs from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to be a part of your story. Your light shines so BRIGHT – and the world is a better place now that you have found each other :)
