Summertime in Atlanta is usually not so friendly, scorching heat and humidity and all. This year, however, is somewhat different. We’ve been enjoying quite a bit of breeze, thanks to some off-and-on rainy days.
Suleman and Saleema’s engagement session happened to fall on one of those easy breezy summer days. We decided on a national park tucked in the middle of Roswell, Georgia. The Old Roswell Mill park used to serve as a cotton mill facility back in the 1800s and the Chattahoochee river runs through the middle of the park.
We were all feeling adventurous that day… so for the sake of good photos, we decided to hike down an incredibly steep walk way in order to get to the waterfall dam. Us with our big cameras, Saleema in her traditional dress and heels and Suleman trying to help the three of us down. It was quite an experience! And yet it was SO worth it because we got to shoot against the beautiful waterfall.
To top the night off, we headed to the Marriott Hotel in Buckhead for a more elegant, contemporary “feel” complete with the neon exterior lights that were hard to resist. This hotel is also where they will be getting married at next month. Congratulations Suleman and Saleema!
