That sweet, but swift season between the proposal and the wedding is a moment worth savoring. And what better way to savor the moment than enjoying a crisp Spring morning at the park, spending an afternoon sharing cups of hot chocolate topped with melted marshmallows and decadent desserts, and ending the day channeling your inner James Bond on a helipad overlooking the city skyline … all the while having each moment captured in photographs?
Many people dread the “in-between” season. And understandably so. There’s usually a huge anticipation of what’s to come that could trigger all kinds of anxiety. Followed by the overwhelming sense of never-ending to-do lists. But what many couples missed is the importance of taking regular breaks from wedding planning to enjoy each other during what arguably is the most hectic-yet-exciting time of their lives. We’ve been there before… so trust us when we say that these breaks are good for your soul :)
If you’re currently in this season, we encourage you to put down that calligraphy pen and rest your eyes from those gorgeous Pinterest pages. Break away from the wedding budget spreadsheet and get your mind off of the ballooning guest lists. Take your honey out on a proper date and talk about anything BUT the wedding. Laugh. Be silly with each other. Laugh some more. And don’t forget to capture them all in photographs… so one day, after all the wedding festivities are over and all the guests went home, you can pull out these photographs and remember this sweet and beautiful season.
Here are some of our favorite photographs from capturing Kajal and Minesh’s “in-between” season.
