San Francisco, December 2015:
It was two days before Christmas. The City was bustling with last-minute Christmas shoppers, sparkly lights everywhere, and bright-eyed tourists eager to capture the wholeness of this experience. We were also hustling from one beautiful SF landmark to the next, not as tourists, but as photographers trying to capture this one fine day for our lovely clients Jessica and Andy to remember and enjoy for the rest of their lives.
The saying “I left my heart in San Francisco” is, apparently, not a cliche. We say this from our own personal experience, but also from Jessica’s. She came to San Francisco as a university student a couple of years ago. Went home to Indonesia, met Andy, fell in love, and got engaged. Naturally, she chose to return to San Francisco for their engagement session to show Andy this beautiful city that has stolen a piece of her heart.
The Palace of Fine Arts. San Francisco City Hall. The Japanese Tea Garden. The Golden Gate Bridge. And, of course, the quintessential Cable Cars. This city totally took our breaths away…
