Head Over Heels in Love : Mandarin Oriental Wedding Photographer

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and even a (rare) silver sixpence in her shoe…Stephanie has ’em all! Including, yet most importantly, a handsome husband who is head over heels in love with her. All day long we caught Jim gazing adoringly at his Mrs. and it’s easy to see why: Stephanie looks like a million bucks :)

There is no better place to start and end Stephanie and Jim’s special day than the fittingly elegant Mandarin Oriental Atlanta Hotel in Buckhead (formerly The Mansion on Peachtree). Their modern airy interior combined with charming vintage details certainly make for a picturesque backdrop.  So imagine our glee when Steph and Jim’s wedding planner extraordinaire, Donna from Confetti, let us worked in enough time for picture-taking within the schedule. Couple pics in the English garden? Check. Experimenting with The Dress and the girls’ Amsale coral dresses on the spiral stairwell? Check. We even had time to let the two enjoy a private slow dance next to the hotel’s piano man while we were clicking away from the top of the stairwell. It was PERFECT.

After capturing the quiet moments shared by the two, it came time to party the night away. Apparently Steph and Jim’s friends and family really know how to bring down the house! Between the Cigar Bar and the Chocolate Bar, everyone was on the dance floor, laughing and having a great time! Huge shoutout to the best DJ ever from Fonix Entertainment. DJ Travis spinned one awesome song after another and even led the Cupid Shuffle number at one point! We could tell that Stephanie and Jim were having the time of their life – which of course is really what a great wedding is all about. Maid of Honor Tahnee summed it up perfectly when she wrote that it was the “BEST DAY EVER”.

“I feel so close to you right now, it’s a force field. I wear my heart upon my sleeve, like a big deal. Your love pours down on me, surrounds me like a waterfall. And there’s no stopping us right now, and there’s no stopping us right now.” – Calvin Harris
