Sometimes what you’re looking for is right in front of you. In this case, exactly 0.4 miles away from our house: a lush, golden field that glows even brighter during that hour before sunset. We had been dreaming about such a field and had been searching for the right couple who are up for this adventure.

Funny thing is, the location is literally sandwiched between a man-made lake and office buildings. Regardless, during the good 30-minute of the shoot, we felt like living in a fairy and dreamy illusion, capturing the love and chemistry between Stephanie and Russell as the golden rays of sunlight gloriously beamed down on us.

We think this is quite the allegory when it comes to finding your soulmate. Odds are they could be someone from kindergarten or college. Odds are they might be someone from your favorite Starbuck’s. Odds are you might randomly know them from a mundane business trip. Odds are they might already be in your circle of friends. Regardless, they could be in a very close proximity, and there’s no need to daydream about the perfect one. If there is anything to be learned here, it’s this: never underestimate the people near you – they could just be the one.
