For those of you Sex and the City fanatics, the title of this post must ring a bell. It was Mr. Big’s simple-yet-powerful vow as he wedded the love of his life Carrie Bradshaw (after proposing the second time in their walk-in closet with…what else? A pair of Manolo Blahniks!). There’s something so precious about the exchange of wedding vows…and even more so when they are re-enacted years after being married to each other. Or exactly eleven years later – as in the case of my sis Yenny and hubby Edward.

As kids, my sis and I got to witness our own parents’ “vow renewal” ceremony as well. And neither one will forget how beautiful it was to see our mom and dad joining hands as they affirm the magnitude and strength of their enduring love.  In fact, you can see them here, still in love as ever as they witnessed their daughter’s turn in renewing vows with the love of her life.
