Autumn in Atlanta

This fantastic four is a well-traveled bunch. So to celebrate baby Jed’s first birthday, they decided to visit us in Atlanta and mark the occasion with a family photo shoot.

The general theme that we had in mind was “Fall/Autumn 2013”. However, because this year’s fall season is pretty much non-existent (the leaves seemed to be turning straight from summer green to wilting red with none of the vibrant yellow colors in-between that we all love!), we knew that we couldn’t rely to nature alone to make it happen! So, we thought about two distinct sub-themes for this adorable family: the first is inspired by Ralph Lauren Kids ads promoting their Fall/Autumn children collections and the second is more casual and fun using pumpkins as the main props.

Thank you Sandra and Jimmy for trusting us with your family photo shoot this year! And special thanks to Sandra who took this “mission” seriously and set out on a journey to find the right outfits. We still chuckle remembering Joel getting warm in his three-piece outfit. Although, thankfully he kept them on likely because he knows just how handsome he looked in the plaid blazer, newspaper boy hat and bow-tie :)  We’re also still amazed at how calm baby Jed was the whole time…not to mention looking incredibly cute in his big-boy vintage outfit!
