Heartfelt : Historic Roswell Wedding Photography

It takes a village to plan and execute the wedding of one’s dreams – and both Lucy and Sam’s families and friends definitely pulled out all the stops.

From the roses on Lucy’s bouquet which were grown on her grandpa’s garden to her breathtaking Chantilly Lace dress which was borrowed from her cousin to that sweet walk down the aisle with her dad while her mom and grandma were watching from the first row with tears of joys in their eyes. Then, there was that moment when the entire bridal party circled and prayed over them during the ceremony. Also, the most heartfelt (and hilarious) speech from Sam’s and Lucy’s brothers!

There were too many sweet moments to mention, although one stood out in particular. Sam and Lucy opted to forgo the “First Look”, but still wanted to have a private moment pre-ceremony with only a door to separate them. Sam forgot to bring the letter he already wrote for Lucy, so he just poured out what was in his heart – unscripted – and WOW. Genuine, loving, heartfelt. Every girl deserves to be loved the way Sam loves Lucy :) Then Sam ended their private, pre-ceremony time with a short prayer. This unscripted moment is one we will NEVER forget.

Sometimes we get lost in the weeds when planning a wedding and get too bogged down with details. But at the end of the day, it is all about these heartfelt moments. Lucy’s mom said she has never seen a happier bride, and we could not agree more!
