The Perfect Fusion : Mason Fine Art Wedding Photography

A great wedding starts with a clear vision. For Anita and Weston, the vision is inspired by their desire to celebrate the coming together of his and her cultures, personalities, and families into one.

She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Hindu-Indian background. He is a Video Game Developer from a Southern American-Baptist family. With the help of wedding planner extraordinaire Brie from Chancey Charm, the vision was executed flawlessly and their story came through vividly throughout the entire day.

Which part was our favorite? Well, that is a hard one to answer.

We started the day with the Baraat – a traditional Indian procession of the groom into the wedding. But instead of riding in a horse, Weston chose to ride in a hot pink Cadillac in true American fashion! The venue, which is the Mason Fine Art gallery in Midtown Atlanta, was chosen as an homage to Weston’s artistic trade. For the ceremony, they both wore traditional Indian attire. But they wanted to capture the classic American bride and groom silhouette for the reception, so Weston changed into a midnight blue 007 tux and Anita went with a sparkly white saree. Their wedding favors were luggage tags with a world map printed on it – a nod to their love for travel and their international roots.

If we could only choose one favorite, though, it would have to be their beautiful ceremony – which started with a Hindu ceremony followed by Bible readings and unity candle lighting led by Weston’s parents. What a beautiful, intentional way to honor the Hindu and Christian influences in their lives! Our second favorite would be seeing Anita and Weston let loose dancing and singing at the top of their lungs to the live band at the end of the night :)

Anita and Weston – what a perfect wedding you both had to kick off your marriage! Thank you for trusting us with the honor of capturing these moments.
