Cheek to Cheek : The Gardens at Great Oaks Wedding Photography

Audrey Hepburn in “Roman Holiday.” Frank Sinatra dancing “Cheek to Cheek.” Tunes like “Fly Me to the Moon”. These three came to mind as we were editing Casey and Tanner’s wedding.

Every wedding, just like every marriage, is unique. Even after photographing at least a dozen weddings at one of our favorite venues in Atlanta, the Gardens at Great Oaks, we found that each has its own, one-of-a-kind stamp reflecting the Bride and Groom’s personal style and taste. As photographers who appreciate beauty in variety, it is both our responsibility – and pleasure – to capture these unique perspectives and preserve them in the form of photographs.

This particular wedding was full of elegant touches that reminded us of the Golden Age of Hollywood – especially Casey’s dress. It’s easily one of the most stunning we’ve ever seen – but there is no question that SHE wore the dress, not the other way around. Combine the classic dress with her impressive cheekbones and expressive eyes, the full effect can only be described in one word: Regal.

Happy tears. Roaring laughters. Heartfelt speeches. And, yes, cheek-to-cheek dances. You cannot look at these pictures without feeling the love that surrounded Casey and Tanner that night. This wedding is definitely one for the ages.
